Job summary

Humly North East is seeking a knowledgeable Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join the College on a full-time, temporary basis until Christmas, with a start date after the October half-term break.

You will deliver practical workshop training and classroom-based teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes, including apprenticeships, helping students develop hands-on skills and industry knowledge for progression in the motor vehicle sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair concepts.
• Ability to teach across Levels 1–3 and apprenticeships.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair courses at Levels 1 and 2, and apprenticeships Levels 2 and 3.
• Lead practical workshop activities and deliver supporting theoretical lessons.
• Teach industry-relevant vehicle maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair methods.
• Assist students with assessments, coursework and practical examinations.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
