Job summary

You will combine technical instruction with workshop-based learning, covering vehicle systems, maintenance, diagnostics, and safe working practices, while upholding safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor vehicle maintenance or the automotive industry.
• Practical knowledge of vehicle systems, servicing, diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Ability to communicate technical information to learners.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• Confidence supervising practical activities within a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical instruction covering vehicle maintenance and mechanical principles
• Demonstrate correct procedures for inspecting, servicing, and repairing vehicle components
• Guide learners through workshop-based tasks and technical exercises
• Explain the operation of key automotive systems using clear, accessible methods
