Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group is seeking a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join the Technology department in Redhill. The role involves teaching Level 1–3 Motor Vehicle qualifications, preparing courses on PHEV/EV, MOT, Air Conditioning and repair, and supporting students as a personal tutor.

You will work with the Director of Learning and Engineering teams, sharing expertise to raise attainment and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
• Minimum of Level 3 Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience.
• Up-to-date industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across Level 1 & 2 City and Guilds and Level 3 BTEC qualifications.
• Prepare and teach on a range of Motor Vehicle courses including PHEV, EV, MOT, Air Conditioning and Repair.
• Provide personal tutoring, pastoral support and promote attendance.
• Collaborate with the Directorate and Engineering team to drive continuous improvement.
