Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking an inspirational Lecturer to join the Motor Vehicle department at Crewe Campus. The role focuses on delivering Motor Vehicle Service and Repair courses, including PHEV and EV topics, with a view to aspirational teaching and thorough learner assessment.

The position requires a Level 3+ in a related field, GCSE English/Maths, and a commitment to PGCE or progression toward it, along with substantial industry experience and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair
• GCSE English and Maths (C/4-5)
• PGCE or commitment to work towards
• Minimum 3 years industry experience
• Up-to-date industry experience
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and learning environment
• Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach on a range of Motor Vehicle Service, (PHEV, Electrical Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning - Desirable) and Repair courses
• Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment
• Keep accurate records for learners' progress in College
