Job summary

TR2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced motor vehicle educator to teach across diverse learning environments. You will lead City & Guilds Level 1 and IMI Level 2 courses and help develop motor vehicle programmes, including new short courses.

You will support the college race team at events, motivate learners to excel, and participate in quality monitoring to ensure high-quality delivery and learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a motor vehicle discipline at Level 3 or higher.
• Experience with Electric Vehicle hybrids or EV systems.
• Teaching experience or assessor award is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for learner support.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train students across a variety of learning environments.
• Act as course leader for City & Guilds Level 1 and IMI Level 2.
• Assist development of Motor Vehicle and Motor Sport courses, including new short courses.
• Support college race team principal at student events when needed.
• Guide and motivate learners to achieve outstanding results.
• Assist quality monitoring to ensure high-level teaching delivery.
• Provide support for students and clients to reach maximum potential.

Job description

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in Motor Vehicle with a recognised qualification in City & Guilds or IMI (Level 3)
• Experience with Electrical Vehicle hybrid
• Teaching experience or assessor award is highly desirable but not essential
• A passion for high standards, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners.

Duties/responsibilities:

• To teach and train students in a variety of learning environments
• Act as course leader for the City & Guilds Level 1 and IMI Level 2, within the college
• Assist the department management team to develop Motor Vehicle and Motor Sport courses and including new short courses
• Support college race team principal at student motor sport events as required
• Guide, motivate and encourage learners to achieve outstanding results
• Assist with quality monitoring activities to ensure delivery of high-level teaching
• Provide support and opportunities for students and clients to achieve their maximum potential
