Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Location – Bishop’s Stortford

Salary yet to be disclosed

OTE – Up to £30,000

Hours – Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm and alternative Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm

Parts Advisor Role:

  • Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax, and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, operating relevant Departmental Procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supply parts as requested to the Service Department.
  • Raise and maintain accurate records as per Company Procedures.
  • Inspect parts in front of the customer as per Company Procedures.
  • Inspect incoming goods against documentation, report discrepancies.
  • Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
  • Pick customer orders and place them in the correct area (delivery, inter-branch transfers) with relevant documentation.
  • Report and record discrepancies or damage to stock parts.
  • Operate computers and machinery according to Procedures/Manufacturers’ instructions.
  • Support and implement the Company’s Quality System and follow Procedures Manuals.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer area and warehouse.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance.
  • Observe all Health, Safety, and Fire Regulations.
