Peopleplus is seeking a Motor Mechanics Tutor to work on-site at HMP Highpoint. You will guide learners in motor vehicle maintenance, deliver practical training, and support long-term goals within the automotive industry.
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities to develop qualifications during probation and support learners in achieving workplace skills.
Based on-site at HMP Highpoint, you will work with small groups of prison-based learners, helping them to develop their motor vehicle maintenance and repair skills, knowledge, and workplace behaviours while supporting them in achieving their long-term goals and aspirations.
As a Motor Mechanics Tutor, you will ensure that effective training plans are in place and that learners receive appropriate advice, guidance, and support throughout their learning journey. You will deliver high-quality, hands-on vocational training that engages learners, builds confidence, and prepares them for future employment opportunities within the automotive industry.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week
