Job summary

Keoghs LLP is seeking a Technical Supervisor to provide leadership and mentoring for Counter Fraud file handlers. You will work with the Technical Manager and Lead Lawyers to drive best practice, support technical progression and ensure robust, strategic case handling.

The role emphasizes coaching, oversight and adherence to professional conduct. The successful candidate will supervise development, handle high-value cases and ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2016 while aiming to

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor/CILEX with practice rights.
Experience handling Defendant motor claims in Counter Fraud is desirable.
Ability to plan and prioritise workloads under deadlines.

Responsibilities

Supervise Counter Fraud file handlers per competency framework and maintain technical development records.
Mentor and coach individuals to extend technical knowledge and expertise.
Assist with pre-audit assessments for external and internal client audits.
Identify training needs and feedback to Team Leader & Technical Manager.
Develop new starters to achieve financial authority within set timescales.
Identify opportunities for strategic litigation and cases for complex consideration.
Coach to ensure profitable practices and manage performance improvement plans.
