Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Motion & Video Designer to create high-quality motion design, animation and video content for club, partnerships, sponsorships and co-branded campaigns. You will translate concepts into engaging motion-led content, collaborate with the Creative team, and help strengthen storytelling across social, digital, matchday, partner and broadcast environments.

As part of a supportive Creative team reporting to the Art Director, you will contribute reusable motion systems,

Qualifications

• Experience in motion design and video production is required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation and video work.

Responsibilities

• Produce motion graphics, animation and video assets for Club and partner campaigns across digital and matchday channels.
• Translate briefs into engaging motion-led content that meets brand standards.
• Animate existing Club and partnership design systems across formats and platforms.
• Support concept development, animation direction and visual storytelling.
• Contribute motion-led ideas to campaigns, reviews and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with production teams, editors, agencies and suppliers to ensure final delivery.
• Maintain high standards across animation, transitions, typography and visual effects.
• Develop reusable motion systems and templates to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Stay current with developments in motion design, sports broadcast, social video and digital storytelling.
