Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Motion & Video Designer to create motion graphics, animation and video content for club, partnerships, sponsorships and co-branded campaigns. You will translate briefs into engaging visuals across social, digital, matchday, partner and broadcast channels.

Working with the Creative team, you will develop reusable motion systems, help shape the club's visual identity and contribute to storytelling that strengthens supporter engagement.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality motion graphics, animation and video assets across Club and partner campaigns.
• Translate strategic and creative briefs into engaging motion-led content that meets the Club's creative standards.
• Animate existing Club and partnership design systems across multiple formats and platforms.
• Support concept development, animation direction and visual storytelling.
• Contribute innovative motion-led ideas to campaigns, creative reviews and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with production teams, editors, agencies and external suppliers to maintain creative quality through to final delivery.
• Maintain high standards across animation, transitions, typography and visual effects.
• Develop reusable motion systems and templates that improve consistency and efficiency.
• Stay current with developments in motion design, sports broadcast, social video and digital storytelling
