Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Motion & Video Designer to create high‑quality motion design, animation and video content across club, partnership and broadcast campaigns. Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, you will help shape the club's storytelling and connect with supporters across social, digital, matchday and partner environments.

You'll work within the Creative team under the Art Director, translating briefs into engaging motion-led content, developing reusable motion systems and templates, and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering motion graphics for multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and timing.
• Ability to translate briefs into engaging motion-led content.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality motion graphics, animation and video assets across Club and partner campaigns.
• Translate briefs into engaging motion-led content meeting the Club's standards.
• Animate Club and partnership design systems across formats.
• Support concept development, animation direction and storytelling.
• Contribute motion-led ideas to campaigns, reviews and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with production teams, editors, agencies and suppliers.
• Maintain high standards across animation, typography and VFX.
• Develop reusable motion systems and templates for efficiency.
• Stay current with developments in motion design and sports broadcast.
