Qualifications

• Experience designing machinery, mechanisms, or equipment with multiple moving parts.
• Ability to foresee mechanical issues before they occur with strong spatial intuition.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and mechanical design principles.
• Problem–solving mindset and hands-on engineering approach.
• Willingness to learn new systems and mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems with moving parts, linkages, actuators, and motion control elements.
• Develop mechanisms that integrate motors, drives, pneumatics, or other actuation methods.
• Produce detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve mechanical issues during build, testing, and commissioning.
• Analyse mechanical interactions to prevent clashes, misalignments, and design–phase failures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of mechanical designs and engineering processes.
