Job summary

Logic 360 Ltd is seeking a MOT Tester in Corby for a temporary role. The position requires carrying out MOT tests, road tests and inspections, and completing repairs to restore vehicles to optimal condition.

It supports planning work and documentation to meet deadlines and company standards. The successful candidate will have MOT Tester qualifications, City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3, and a full UK driving licence, with the ability to work Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a MOT Tester (essential)
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential) (We will require a copy of the MOT certificate)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests
• Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.
• Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
• Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency.
• Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Skills and expertise

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
• Qualified as a MOT Tester (essential)
• Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential) (We will require a copy of the MOT certificate)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
• You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
• Excellent attention to detail
