Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd represents a well-established, family-run automotive business in Billingshurst seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their trusted team. You will conduct MOT tests on a broad range of vehicles in line with VOSA/government standards and contribute to a quality service environment.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours (8:00–17:30) with no weekend work, a pension scheme, access to recognised training, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven MOT testing experience and understanding of VOSA/government standards.
• Valid MOT Smart card and MOT Tester certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles in accordance with VOSA standards and government regulations.
• Maintain strict adherence to MOT testing standards to ensure customer trust and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality service in line with company standards.
• Support junior staff and apprentices by sharing technical expertise and guidance as required.
• Ensure vehicle safety, roadworthiness, and compliance through diligent testing procedures.
