Qualifications

• Requires valid MOT Tester qualification and active DVSA authorisation.
• Experience as MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician in independent garage or dealership.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with servicing, maintenance and repairs experience.
• Ability to diagnose faults and identify vehicle defects accurately.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workshop safety.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented work style.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• MOT Testing: Carry out MOT tests per DVSA regulations and record results.
• Servicing & Repairs: Complete routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Identify faults using diagnostic equipment and methods.
• Mechanical Work: Work on engines, brakes, suspension, exhausts and electrical systems.
• Vehicle Inspections: Assess condition and identify repairs for roadworthiness.
• Quality Control: Perform final checks for safety and quality.
• Workshop Safety: Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace.
• Documentation & Compliance: Keep accurate service records and follow procedures.
