MOT Tester – Northampton
Basic Salary - £30,000 - £31,000
OTE - £38,000
Overtime for Saturday

Our client, a Prestige Brand Franchised Dealership in Northampton, has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester to join their established team.

Responsibilities

As an MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include:

1. Safeguarding and protecting the customer’s vehicle and its contents whilst in your care.
2. Effectively utilising the tools and resources available to you to become a specialist in your area.
3. Contributing to the success of the Workshop Team by maintaining the highest standards of work at all times.
4. Being integral in maintaining the onsite standards and presentation of the Site, including your immediate working area.
5. Ensuring that all work is completed safely and complies with guidelines.
6. Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner.
7. Happy to change tyres, shocks and brake pads when quiet.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

1. Active MOT Testing licence.
2. 2 years MOT Testing Experience.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.
5. Able to change tyres & brake pads.

Desirable Requirements:

1. Franchised Dealer Experience.
2. Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent.
3. Manufacturer Accreditations.

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £30,000 - £31,000 DOE.
On Target Earnings up to £38,000 + Saturday overtime.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Saturdays (1 in 3) 8.30am – 1pm.
