Hawk Hiring LTD in Frome is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our independent vehicle service centre. You will conduct Class 4, 5L and 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and support fleet/taxi testing with full training provided.

The role offers a 35k–40k salary, a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site parking and a modern workshop. You will work with a supportive team, maintain safety practices and produce clear testing reports.

Qualifikationen

• DVSA MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7) is essential and Class 5 is a plus.
• Proven track record as MOT Tester in a workshop setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems.

Your Role

As a dedicated MOT Tester on our team, you will:

• Conduct Class 4, 5L & 7 MOT tests in full accordance with DVSA legal and safety standards.
• Perform specialized fleet inspections, including taxi compliance checks, VSI checks, and minibus safety inspections (full training provided).
• Identify required repair work and provide clear, accurate testing reports to the service team.
• Maintain compliance with all workshop health and safety regulations while keeping testing bays clean and organized.
• Collaborate closely with workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7 essential; Class 5 capability is a major advantage). Proven track record as a dedicated MOT Tester within a professional workshop setting.
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Equipment & Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge across varied vehicle systems, proficiency with testing equipment and hand tools, keen attention to detail, and pride in delivering thorough safety checks.
