Job description

Protyre Autocare is seeking an enthusiastic MOT Tester to join our team. We are a rapidly expanding national automotive company providing excellent training and development opportunities. As an MOT Tester/Technician, you will perform MOT tests and mechanical repairs as needed.

Location:

Protyre Telford, the new home for Hardy Tyres.

About You:

• Valid MOT Licence
• Experience in mechanical repairs and fast fit services, including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, and general vehicle servicing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

About the Role:

• Ensure all work is completed safely and to high standards
• Perform MOT testing in line with DVSA requirements
• Conduct general servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components
• Perform fast fit tyre fitting, use alignment machines, and understand relevant adjustments
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the correct uniform
• Perform additional tasks as required by management
