Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy automotive workshop in Hatfield. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards, complete inspections, and document results.

A current MOT Tester Licence, Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK are essential. The role offers a salary of £36,000–£40,000 plus a bonus scheme, with Monday to Friday hours and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

• Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations.
• Complete vehicle inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Identify and report defects found during MOT testing.
• Complete all MOT documentation and testing records accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are tested to required safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised MOT testing area.

MOT Tester - Hatfield

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester to join a busy automotive workshop in Hatfield. Applicants must hold a current MOT Tester Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. No main dealer experience is required - we are looking for an experienced MOT Tester who can confidently carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards.

Location: Hatfield

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
