Perfect Placement UK Ltd, on behalf of a reputable family-run main dealer in St Helens, seeks an experienced MOT Tester to join the team. You will perform MOT tests, uphold safety standards, and provide customers with professional advice.

The role offers a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum, potential £40,000 with overtime, 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, hours 8am–5:30pm, with Saturdays on a rota and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• MOT Tester qualification and current UK testing certification.
• Experience operating 4-post MOT testing equipment.
• Strong understanding of vehicle safety standards and testing procedures.
• Reliable, diligent with excellent organisational skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles efficiently and to industry standards.
• Complete detailed documentation and reports for each vehicle tested.
• Provide professional advice and feedback to customers regarding their vehicles.
• Support the workshop team with vehicle inspections and repair jobs as required.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service throughout all tasks.
