Job summary

KPI People Ltd in St Albans is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy, independent workshop. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards, liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service team, and carry out re-tests to ensure quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an active MOT Testing licence, have at least 2 years MOT testing experience, a full UK driving licence, and a keen eye for detail. Franchise dealer experience or additional qualifications are a bonus.

Our client, an independent workshop in St Albans, in St Albans has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester to join their established team.

MOT Tester Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
• Liaise with Workshop Controller and Service department regarding test result
• Carry out re-tests as appropriate
• Carry out quality inspections
• Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
• Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
