Job summary

Halfords is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our team in the UK. The role offers progression opportunities within the UK’s largest automotive service and repair business, with a focus on MOT testing and basic vehicle maintenance.

You will operate in a centre that emphasizes early career development, with hybrid training and IMI approved continuous development fully supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Current MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing and related tasks in workshop.
• Assist in light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs.
• Contribute to ongoing workshop operations and safety standards.

• On target earnings up to £45,800 per year
• Comprising of a base salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per year
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £5,800 per annum
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on Sundays)
