Job summary

Halfords, the UK’s leading automotive services retailer, is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our workshop. You will conduct MOT tests and support light vehicle maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety and quality for customers.

To apply you must hold a current MOT Testing Licence and a full UK driving licence (max 9 points). The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work at our Croydon location.

Qualifications

• Current MOT Testing Licence (MOT Tester) is required.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Team player willing to assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing and related vehicle inspections.
• Assist in workshop with light maintenance tasks as needed.

• On-target earnings up to £45,410
• Comprising a base salary of £35,000 - £38,710
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,700 per year.

Skills and experience
