Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our Nottingham workshop. You will conduct DVSA inspections, log test results, and perform light service repairs alongside a supportive team in a modern ATL-equipped facility.

The role requires a mandatory DVSA Smart Card or MOT Tester Licence, a full UK driving licence, your own hand tools, and a methodical, compliant approach to DVSA standards. Base location Nottingham with easy commute options.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team productivity bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturday mornings operated on a fair team rota basis

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our expanding workshop team. Operating out of an updated ATL bay supported by front-of-house advisors, you will be responsible for conducting thorough DVSA inspections, logging test results, and carrying out light service repairs across a varied customer vehicle mix.

Requirements

• Active DVSA Smart Card / Valid MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory).
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage background).
• Methodical testing approach with strong commitment to DVSA compliance and honest trade standards.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
