Octane Recruitment Limited in Nottingham is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a long-established automotive group in Nottingham. You will carry out Class 4 and 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and ensure accurate documentation, while supporting busy workshop operations.

The role offers a stable full-time permanent contract, a modern workshop with up-to-date equipment, and a salary up to £37,000 with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• DVSA-approved MOT Tester with Class 4 & 7 experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a busy workshop or autocentre.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Complete MOT documentation accurately.
• Identify and report vehicle defects.
• Advise customers on repairs and maintenance.
• Support workshop operations when required.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and safety.

A long-established automotive group is expanding across Nottingham and is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their growing team. With new sites recently opened and continued investment in people, training and facilities, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants stability, development and a positive workshop culture.

Working Hours

• Monday Friday: 08:30 17:30
• Saturday (bi-weekly): 08:30 13:00
• No Sundays or Bank Holidays
