Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Lincoln is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-equipped dealership. This role offers a clear path for technical development within a supportive workshop environment.

The position includes a competitive basic salary up to £36,816 with an OTE of £47,000, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension, and extensive discounts. Training and progression opportunities are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Current MOT Tester qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Professional approach to vehicle safety and quality standards.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and company procedures.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and maintain excellent compliance standards.
• Identify and report vehicle faults clearly and professionally.
• Work closely with the workshop team to support an efficient service operation.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Use specialist equipment and the latest vehicle diagnostic technology.
• Uphold consistently high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
• Support the dealership's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction as an MOT Tester.
