Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a busy Erdington workshop. Expect a base salary of £33,000–£35,000 plus bonus, in a full-time permanent role with ongoing training and career progression.

You will carry out MOT inspections per DVSA regulations, maintain high workmanship standards, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven MOT testing experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance.
• Identify and report any faults or defects.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop.

About the Role
