Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking an MOT Tester for our Hamilton Road Volvo branch. You’ll ensure vehicles meet safety standards and work within a skilled team to deliver high-quality workmanship.

You’ll perform MOT tests, identify defects, and stay current with DVSA guidelines while delivering excellent customer service. Competitive salary and benefits apply as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Technician – Minimum Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance certification (level 3 preferred).
• DVSA Tester Certification and MOT testing experience is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence; strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Identify vehicle defects and failures.
• Keep up to date with MOT testing guidelines and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice.

About The Role

As an MOT Tester, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe and roadworthy. You’ll work with a skilled, motivated team in a dynamic environment, gaining hands‑on experience with a wide variety of makes and models. Plus, you’ll stay ahead of the curve with the latest automotive technology!

Day‑to‑day duties

• Performing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

What We’re Looking For
