Job summary

Arnold Clark’s Motorstore in Wigan is seeking an MOT Tester to help ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards, identify defects, document inspections and provide accurate technical advice to customers, working with a skilled team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Technician – Minimum Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance certification (Level 3 preferred).
• DVSA Tester Certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Detail‑Oriented with a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Team player who can work independently or with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Identify vehicle defects and failures.
• Keep up to date with MOT testing guidelines and best practices.

About The Role

As an MOT Tester, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe and roadworthy. You’ll work with a skilled, motivated team in a dynamic environment, gaining hands‑on experience with a wide variety of makes and models. Plus, you'll stay ahead of the curve with the latest automotive technology!
