Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a busy independent automotive service centre in Bognor Regis. This role offers 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rotation; basic salary £36,000–£38,000 depending on experience, annual pay rise and bonus. Immediate start available.

You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards, perform vehicle inspections, report defects, keep documentation accurate, maintain a clean safe workshop, and support the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified MOT Tester with a valid MOT licence.
• Experience carrying out MOT tests in a workshop environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Identify and report any defects or advisory work.
• Ensure all MOT documentation is completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Support the workshop team where required.

We’re looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy, well‑established independent automotive service centre in Bognor Regis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive workshop where quality workmanship, attention to detail, and customer service are highly valued.

What’s on offer

• Working hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
• Saturdays: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm every other weekend (2 Saturdays per month)
• Basic salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
