Job summary

A busy franchised dealership is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their team in Bedford. You will be responsible for carrying out MOT Tests to DVSA standards, performing quality inspections, and maintaining electronic records. The ideal candidate will hold an active MOT Testing licence and have at least 2 years of MOT Testing experience. The position offers a competitive salary and a great benefits package.

Qualifications

Essential to hold an active MOT Testing licence.
Having franchised dealer experience is desirable.

Job Overview

Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Bedford has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established team.

Responsibilities

Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
Liaise with Service Manager department regarding test result
Carry out re-tests as appropriate
Carry out quality inspections
Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
Carry out New Cars PDI's, Used Car Multi Point Checks, and associated rectification.
Carry out minor MOT failures repairs.
