Job Overview

Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Bedford has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
• Liaise with Service Manager department regarding test result
• Carry out re-tests as appropriate
• Carry out quality inspections
• Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
• Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
• Carry out New Cars PDI's, Used Car Multi Point Checks, and associated rectification.
• Carry out minor MOT failures repairs.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Active MOT Testing licence
• 2 years MOT Testing Experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Own Tools
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Franchised Dealer Experience
• Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
• Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary up to £33,000 DOE

On Target Earnings up to £36,500
