A busy franchised car dealership in Exeter is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their established workshop team on a four-day work week. Key responsibilities include servicing, repairs, and MOT testing to manufacturer standards, alongside a competitive salary package and potential for earnings increase based on performance.

Competenze

• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7) required.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Mansioni

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Exeter have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their established workshop team on a 4 day a week basis.

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Responsibilities

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester responsibilities will include:

Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Hybrid/EV Qualifications
Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £35,000 DOE
On Target Earnings of £45,000 - £50,000
