Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a full-time role in Clitheroe. The successful candidate will perform servicing, diagnostics, and MOT testing (if qualified), joining a busy, reputable garage with a strong local reputation.

The role offers a competitive salary (£36,000–£43,000 depending on experience), Monday–Friday hours, and opportunities for ongoing training within a supportive team focused on quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Skilled and qualified mechanic with relevant certifications.
• Proven experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• MOT tester certification would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and complex mechanical repairs, including clutches, gearboxes, and timing belts.
• Conduct MOT testing (if qualified) and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Manage multiple workloads across two bays, maintaining efficiency and quality.
• Deliver excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients.
• Ensure high standards of repair accuracy and vehicle safety compliance.
