Octane Recruitment is seeking a motivated MOT Technician for a fast-fit automotive business in Southampton. You will complete MOTs on customer vehicles and perform light and some full-service work, with on-going training offered as you develop your skills.

The role requires a valid MOT licence and experience as a Vehicle Technician; qualification through us is possible. Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and a clear path for progression, with a rota-based weekend possibility.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician; no formal qualifications required.
• Experience as an MOT Tester or MOT licence.
• Willing to learn and progress to Level 3 qualifications (IMI/Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Completing MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Light and full-service work.
• Fast fit duties as required.
• Work with workshop to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with Service/Parts and other departments.
• Ensure DVSA process is followed.
