Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an MOT Technician for a fast-fit automotive business at their Southam centre. You will carry out MOTs on customer vehicles and perform light servicing, with support to gain further qualifications.

The role requires a valid MOT licence and experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester. A launchpad for training and progression is offered, with excellent staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician; no formal qualifications needed.
• Experience as an MOT Tester with a current MOT licence or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to develop qualifications, including Hybrid vehicle knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Perform light and full-service work as needed.
• Carry out fast-fit duties when required.
• Collaborate with workshop to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with Service, Parts and other centre departments and keep them informed.
• Ensure DVSA processes are followed.
