Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Weymouth. You will carry out Class 4 MOT tests, servicing and repairs, and diagnostics using modern equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a DVSA MOT Tester Licence, a full UK driving licence, and has the right to work in the UK. The role is full-time with a 42.5-hour week and weekend rota, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Experience carrying out mechanical repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
• Current DVSA MOT Tester Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence (minimum six months).
• Right to work in the UK.

Aufgaben

• Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Complete vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Fit tyres and carry out wheel alignment adjustments.
• Replace brakes, exhausts, batteries and suspension components.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Complete job cards, MOT documentation and safety checklists accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and Health & Safety.

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Technician, MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician or Service Technician to join a busy automotive service centre. Previous experience carrying out mechanical repairs and vehicle diagnostics is essential.

Applicants must hold a current DVSA MOT Tester Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence (minimum six months) and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Weymouth

Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + Bonus, OTE up to £43,600

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am – 4:00pm on a rota (every other Saturday)
