Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled MOT Technician for a growing automotive service centre in Banbury. The role is full-time and permanent with a strong salary package, bonus potential and excellent training.

Must hold a valid MOT Licence and a full UK driving licence. Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rotation, and opportunities for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• A few years of experience as a skilled mechanic on relevant vehicle repairs.
• Valid DVSA MOT Licence / Level 2 Award in MOT.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA requirements and centre procedures.
• Complete mechanical repairs, servicing and fast-fit work including tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
• Use wheel alignment equipment, interpret results and make adjustments as required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards; keep a clean, professional work area.
