Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is recruiting for an MOT Technician in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The role offers a basic salary up to £34,000 per annum with a realistic OTE of £37,000 in a busy automotive service centre.

You will conduct MOT testing, servicing, diagnostics and repairs, working five days a week in a supportive, development-focused workshop with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester licence and/or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a professional automotive workshop.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills as a MOT Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and mechanical work on vehicle systems.
• Complete vehicle health checks and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify additional repairs and communicate findings to customers.
• Use wheel alignment equipment and perform wheel alignment tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop to ensure safety and efficiency.
