Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOT testing and general servicing/repairs, including tyre fitting, using alignment equipment and ensuring high standards of safety.

A valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence are essential. The role offers training and development opportunities, with staff discounts and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and MOT licence are required.
• Experience in MOT testing and general servicing/repairs is essential.
• Ability to perform fast-fit tyre fitting and brake/exhaust repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements.
• General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts and other mechanical components.
• Fast Fit tyre fitting with alignment machine operation and adjustments.
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and wear company uniform.
• Carry out any reasonable tasks as directed by management.

About the role

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
