Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and MOT testing
• Able to perform servicing and repairs confidently
• Full UK driving licence held
• Local to Huddersfield preferred
• Professional attitude and teamwork required

Responsibilities

• Undertake servicing, maintenance and repairs on various vehicles including prestige models
• Conduct MOT tests in line with guidelines
• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
• Maintain thorough records of work and parts used

Duties of a MOT Technician

• Undertake maintenance, servicing, and repair activities on a wide range of vehicles, including prestige models
• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal and manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently as aMOT Technician
• Keep comprehensive records of work carried out and parts used
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet high standards of customer satisfaction
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and industry standards

Requirements of a MOT Technician

• A strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, with a desire to learn and develop further
• Ability to carry out servicing, repairs, and MOT testing confidently
• Full UK driving licence
• Ideally, local to Huddersfield to facilitate easy access to the workshop
• A team player with a professional attitude committed to delivering high-quality work
