Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Southampton is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester for a reputable independent garage on the outskirts of the city. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and MOT tests, using modern tools in a supportive team.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with no weekends. Benefits include a salary up to £39,500 plus a performance bonus, health insurance, a company pension, and 31 days holiday. Level 3 NVQ/MOT training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification; Level 2 qualified technicians welcome.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
• Proven diagnostics, fault-finding and vehicle repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Perform servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on all vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct MOT tests in line with current regulations.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults efficiently.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to ensure high standards of work.

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification; Level 2 qualified technicians and time-served Mechanics are encouraged to apply
• MOT Tester qualification is preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in diagnostics, fault-finding, and vehicle repairs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
