MOS Operative

Location: Leicester

Compensation: £12.21 / hour

Description

As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your main duties include manual control of traffic light systems on site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. Occasionally, you may assist qualified operatives to ensure efficient project execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the role.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy outdoor, physical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand safe working methods and best practices, including risk assessments and method statements related to traffic management.
• Carry out activities according to established procedures, identify areas for improvement, and report to your line manager.
• Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Promote a positive company image through attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
• Assist the public by directing them through safe site lines when necessary.
