MOS Operative

Compensation: £12.21 / hour

Description

As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your primary responsibilities will include manual control of traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective monitoring of site conditions. Occasionally, you may assist qualified operatives to ensure projects run efficiently, maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the work.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy outdoor, physical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures. Learn how to carry out risk assessments and method statements related to traffic management.
• Ensure all activities are performed according to established procedures, and report areas for improvement to your line manager.
• Assist with daily vehicle checks to maintain cleanliness, safety, and tidiness of the vehicle.
• Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
• Assist the public by directing them safely through site lines when required.
