MOS Operative

Location: Redditch

Compensation: £12.21 / hour

Description

As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes across various projects. Your primary responsibilities include manual control of traffic light systems on site to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective site condition monitoring. Occasionally, you may assist qualified operatives to ensure projects run efficiently and safely, maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the dynamic nature of the role.

This role is suited for individuals who enjoy outdoor, physical work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures. Learn to carry out risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic management works.
2. Ensure all activities comply with established procedures. Identify areas for improvement and report them to your line manager.
3. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
4. Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
5. Assist the public by directing them safely through site lines when required.

Training provided: Lantra 12d accreditation - TTMBC

Experience and Qualifications: Valid UK Driving License required
