Job summary

Placing Faces is expanding its team in the mortgage and protection advisory area. The role is office-based and based in Ipswich or Chelmsford, offering a base salary of £26,000–£30,000 plus commission and bonuses.

You will provide tailored mortgage and protection advice, manage cases from enquiry to completion, and work with a supportive admin team to deliver compliant client outcomes. Candidates should have at least one year of advisory experience, hold CAS, and be comfortable in a

• At least one year's relevant mortgage advising experience.
• Competent Adviser Status (CAS) is essential.
• Experience advising on both mortgages and protection is required.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and a commitment to delivering quality advice.
• Comfortable working predominantly office-based.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, ensuring their needs are fully understood.
• Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Identify suitable protection solutions alongside mortgage recommendations.
• Build strong working relationships with the associated estate agency branches to maximise referral opportunities.
• Contribute to business growth across Ipswich, Chelmsford and Colchester.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all advice meets compliance and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with colleagues and administrative support to ensure cases progress efficiently.

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 Basic (depending on experience) + Commission & Bonuses
