Job summary

Rettie is seeking a Mortgage Operations Director to lead the day-to-day operation of the mortgage and protection business across Rettie locations. You will work closely with advisers, administrators and central functions to improve conversion, service delivery and income performance.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualification with strong mortgage/protection knowledge.
• Proven operational leadership in mortgage or related financial services.
• Credibility working with advisers and frontline teams.
• Ability to travel regularly across multiple Rettie locations.
• Strong organisational and workflow management capability.
• Experience using MI to drive practical actions and accountability.
• Clear, confident communication with coaching skills.
• Understanding of regulated environments and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operating rhythm of mortgage and protection functions.
• Coordinate adviser and administrator workload and case progression.
• Maintain standards across lead handling, contact and application progression.
• Travel to Rettie locations to support branch teams and advisers in person.
• Produce weekly and monthly MI on referrals, conversion and activity.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements for better outcomes.
