Job summary

Stonebridge Mortgage Solutions is seeking an experienced Skills Development Manager to join our Sales team and make a real impact on adviser success. Use your hands-on advising experience to develop others, improve sales performance, and help advisers deliver positive customer outcomes.

As SDM, you will deliver structured training, deliver the Sales Development Programme, provide coaching, and support IPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualified and current mortgage and protection advisory experience.
• Proven ability coaching, developing or managing advisers to improve sales performance.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage market, products, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Sales Development Programme to advisers, virtually and face-to-face.
• Provide one-to-one and group coaching to improve adviser skills and sales performance.
• Run workshops, role-plays and case studies focused on client interviewing and sales techniques.
• Observe client interviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Coach advisers on questioning, listening, needs identification and objection handling.
• Develop training content in line with business and market needs.
• Build relationships with advisers, AR firms and product providers.
• Use performance information to identify further coaching and development needs.
