West One Loans is seeking a Mortgage Market Intelligence & Sourcing Manager to maximise origination across Residential, Buy-to-Let, Second Charge, Bridging, and Commercial lending. You will shape product criteria and pricing decisions using market intel from multiple channels.

You will lead distribution partnerships, manage platform integrations, and deliver data-backed recommendations to senior leadership. Role requires UK market expertise and strong stakeholder skills.

Qualificações

• Experience in mortgage distribution, intermediary partnerships, pricing or market analytics within a UK lender, network or sourcing provider.
• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage and specialist lending market, including intermediary distribution models.
• Understanding of pricing, placement and product positioning principles.
• Advanced Excel skills, with ability to build and maintain automated reporting.
• Working knowledge of sourcing and criteria systems including Twenty7tec, Iress and Mortgage Brain.
• Proven commercial acumen - able to turn complex data into clear, actionable pricing and product recommendations.
• Partnership management and negotiation skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and technology initiatives.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Lead relationships with sourcing and distribution platforms, negotiating terms to drive value.

• Manage end-to-end product launches, rate changes and withdrawals across platforms.
• Act as business owner for distribution tech integrations including DIP APIs and pricing engines.
• Monitor competitor rates, fees and criteria across lending lines.
• Analyse ranking and placement by product, LTV band and channel to identify pricing/criteria impact.
• Develop data-backed pricing and positioning recommendations for Product and Pricing strategy.
• Prepare regular market intelligence for Product Managers and leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance and IT to ensure launches are accurate and on schedule.

About The Role

To maximise West Ones origination through sourcing and distribution channels across Residential, Buy-to-Let, Second Charge, Bridging, Commercial and Development Finance - and to deliver the market intelligence that directly shapes our product, pricing and criteria decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution and Sourcing

• Lead relationships with sourcing, criteria, affordability and other distribution platforms, negotiating commercial terms to drive value and reach
• Own the accuracy of West Ones products and criteria across all sourcing and criteria systems - including sign-off controls for product loads, and logging and resolving any load errors
• Manage end-to-end execution of product launches, rate changes and withdrawals across all platforms, covering broker communications and go-live timelines
• Act as business owner for distribution technology integrations including DIP APIs and pricing engines - defining requirements and collaborating with IT to deliver solutions

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor rates, fees and criteria across all lending lines using sourcing platform data and additional market sources
• Analyse West Ones ranking and placement by product, LTV band and channel - identifying where pricing or criteria are limiting volume
• Conduct gap analysis to understand where our products are filtered out during broker searches, recommending criteria adjustments to the Product team
• Develop data-backed pricing and positioning recommendations to inform Product and Pricing strategy

Reporting and Governance

• Prepare regular market intelligence covering channel performance, placement share, visibility and return on investment for Product Managers and senior leadership
• Deliver distribution and customer outcomes intelligence to support target market monitoring, fair value assessments and product governance in line with the Consumer Duty
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance and IT teams to ensure new products and channels launch accurately and on schedule

Success Measures

• Placement share and ranking on key sourcing systems by lending line
• Search-to-DIP and DIP-to-application conversion rates by channel
• Product load accuracy - zero customer-impacting load errors
• Timely delivery of rate changes, product launches and updates
• Reliable, high-quality market intelligence and reporting

Essential

Skills and Experience

• Experience in mortgage distribution, intermediary partnerships, pricing or market analytics within a UK lender, network or sourcing provider

• CeMAP or equivalent qualification
• Proactive, collaborative working style - comfortable engaging with Product, Sales, Compliance and IT teams
• Strong analytical focus with a commitment to accuracy
• Confident communicator - able to present findings and recommendations to senior audiences
