Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is partnering with a well-established mortgage brokerage in Southampton to recruit a Mortgage Administrator. This role suits someone with administration experience in financial services, especially mortgages, and who wants a supportive team with training and career progression.

You'll support the mortgage process from application to completion, liaising with clients and partners, maintaining records, and handling documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience within financial services, ideally mortgages.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A professional and friendly telephone manner.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple cases.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Managing mortgage cases from application through to completion.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, developers, lenders and mortgage advisers to ensure cases progress smoothly.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal systems.
• Providing regular updates to clients and third parties throughout the mortgage journey.
• Preparing and processing mortgage documentation.
• Carrying out compliance and file checks.
• Managing incoming emails and telephone enquiries professionally.
• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties.
