TeacherActive is seeking a Teaching Assistant for mornings in the Early Years at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Abergavenny. The role is part-time, long-term, and focuses on supporting learning and development within the Early Years provision.

The ideal candidate has Early Years experience, a patient and nurturing approach, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to engage and support young children effectively.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis, working mornings only within their Early Years provision. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, development and classroom activities, with previous Early Years experience being essential for the role.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within an Early Years setting


• A good understanding of supporting children within the Early Years


• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting


• A patient and nurturing approach


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• The ability to engage and support young children effectively
